“Logical activity is not the whole of intelligence. One can be intelligent without being particularly logical.”-Jean Piaget
The theory was proposed by Jean Piaget. It’s a branch of psychology that studies mental processes of how we think, perceive, remember, and learn. It's a part of a branch in psychology where it's related to other disciplines that include : neuroscience, philosophy, and linguistics and one of the most influential theories from this school of thought was the stages of cognitive development. How I can compare myself to this school of thought is for when I would be in class and we are learning something one certain thing can bring back a memory I forgot I had. So say if we were learning about March for our lives in history or when we did other projects in history where we had an assignment for a project where we had to research about a protest which mine was March for our lives. The reason why I chose it was because I felt connected to it because i had the same feelings they were having and the protesters were close to my age. When I was working on the assignment it started to bring back memories on what made me think exactly how they were thinking. So how this reflects on how cognitive can compare to me is when works on something that I wouldn’t think would have a connection to me it did and it brought back a memory.
